Robert Hastie grew up in Massachusetts
and graduated from Vesper george School of Art in Boston. He
spent most of his 35-year career as a commercial artist, finally
retiring as art production manager for Prudential Insurance Company,
Northeast Home Office. He was also an art teacher and Artist
in Residence at Bentley College, where several of his murals
are on display.
Bob is now working on his second career,
establishing himself as a fine artist with paintings sold and
displayed throughout the United States and Canada. He works primarily
with pastels, markers and pencils to create Landscapes, seascapes
and portraits (including pet portraits).
